Personalized Guidance

Our advisors will go over the many insurance plan options available. We’ll help you choose the right plan for you based on your health needs, budget, and which doctors you need access to. We assist with subsidized “on-exchange” plans through the Federal Marketplace, as well as “off-exchange” plans directly from our local insurance carriers.

Services Free of Charge

You pay us nothing for our services. When we assist you, our partner insurance companies compensate us for the service we’ve provided to you. Also, when you purchase a health plan from us, you pay the lowest rate available for that plan. In other words, purchasing your plan from us doesn’t include any additional fees.

Ongoing Support

Once we’ve enrolled you in your health insurance plan, we provide ongoing service and support. We’ll assist you with any questions or issues that come up, as well as conduct annual renewal meetings during the open enrollment period that goes from November 1 – December 15 of each year.

Frequently Asked Questions

You can apply for health insurance under these scenarios:

1) During the Open Enrollment Period from November 1st to December 15th of each year (coverage will start January 1).

2) Any time during the year if you have a Special Enrollment Period, which applies, for example, if you:

Lose coverage you had through an employer
“Age off” your parents’ coverage when you turn 26
Get married or have a baby

3) If it’s outside of the Open Enrollment Period and you don’t have a Special Enrollment Period, you may be able to purchase a short-term medical plan. Please call us to see if that would be an option for you.

We offer two types of plans:

1) We offer plans through the Federal Marketplace at www.healthcare.gov. These plans are a great option if your income qualifies you for a premium tax credit (subsidy), or if you have unpredictable income and want the option to apply for subsidies retroactively when filing your tax returns.

2) We offer “off-exchange” plans directly with our local insurance companies instead of the Federal Marketplace. These plans are a great option if you know your income will be too high to qualify for subsidies.
